In this period there are various activities inside the village: bazaar, bar, tobacconist, parapharmacy, minimarket, ATM for the hotel, and if you want at the hotel there are agencies that organize excursions around Sicily. In the period of non-activity (from October to May) there is no active service, no commercial recreational tourist hotel activity, swimming pool closed. You can always use the tennis courts and soccer fields during the day, as well as 2 play areas for children. We are in one of the municipalities of the Val di Noto (in 2002, it was included among the Italian sites of the UNESCO World Heritage List for its splendid late Baroque cities, the eight Baroque cities of the valley: Caltagirone, Militello in Val di Catania, Catania, Modica, Noto, Palazzolo, Ragusa and Scicli). We are also in the ideal position to visit the Greek city of Syracuse, Gela and Agrigento, the Villa Romana del Casale in Piazza Armerina, to taste the local cuisine and fresh fish of Scoglitti (seafaring village), chocolate in Modica, visit the places of inspector Montalbano (Punta Secca km.14 La Casa), the Donnafugata Castle just 8 km away, the Scoglitti seafront with several km of golden beaches where every afternoon (Monday to Friday) the fishermen dock their boats at the small port and sell the catch of the day. The first inhabited center (Scoglitti) is about 4 km from the village. You need a car to get around. Binding rules are: From October to May, when the tourist village is closed, the houses are rented for short periods (at least 3 days from October to May) and also for long periods, even with monthly rentals. The houses are rented in residence formula (excluding food and drinks), therefore, in addition to the rental price itself, there are always obligatory expenses to be paid upon arrival on site: €.60.00 for administrative expenses, at the end of the stay electricity €.0.60 per kwh, Tourist tax, complete kit (bed set + bathroom set) per person €.25.00. By reservation only, to be paid on the spot, portable mini wi-fi (maximum consumption 200 GB per stay) €.3,00 per day.
